Capabilities
- ShippedAn undecided blocking finding holds the engagement: no client invite, packet, workstation run or engagement letter, and a transfer cannot be accepted, until the hold is cleared.
- ShippedThe attorney decides each finding on the record with a reason — no conflict, a namesake (different people), the same person with no conflict, or hold the engagement.
- ShippedA namesake or same-person decision is kept as a link so later screens show it; a namesake is never merged over, and an undo keeps who, when and why.
- ShippedA hold clears only when every finding it names has an attorney's decision other than hold, with a stated rationale; a client invite withheld by the hold is created on clearance.
- ShippedA client who reaches a held engagement is told only that the firm needs to confirm a detail — never the finding.
- ShippedHolds and the weekly rescan's undecided findings are rows on Today (needs you) and in Conflict review.
Limits
- A hold's findings are fixed when it opens; a later finding opens its own hold.
- The attorney's conflict determination (who the client is, the determination, joint representation) is recorded separately in the questionnaire — the screen never clears anything.
