Capabilities
- ShippedWhere the draft stands, from the record: Sources → Draft → Challenge (a review or Opposing Counsel Pass of this version) → Attorney decisions (the plan's review decided) → Export (the approved delivery).
- ShippedThe matter's sources (each opening in the source viewer, with + Add source), the draft's outline, and the drafting foundation — the firm playbook versions the document was drafted from, with Change foundation.
- ShippedThe plan's documents in the desk's own editor (no third-party editor): paragraph styles, bold, italic, underline, bulleted lists, zoom, bracketed blanks marked, and comments on a section — resolved and reopened by the team.
- ShippedEach save is a new working version (v2 onward; v1 is the generated text) naming the version it was edited from — someone else's save meanwhile is a conflict, never overwritten; every version stays, and any two compare section by section, word by word.
- ShippedExport draft as Word or PDF — sealed as a working copy (never an approved delivery), its download on the record.
- ShippedThe assistant beside the draft, and the question a blank in the draft leaves for the client — composed from the draft's own words, edited by the attorney and sent as a document request only when they choose.
Limits
- The desk edits an estate plan's generated documents; a matter without a plan keeps its drafting on the command center's Documents tab and the attorney workspace.
- What is edited here is a working copy: the plan's approved delivery stays the generated version the firm approves on its workstation.
- A version belongs to the plan version it was edited from; generating the plan again starts its documents' versions anew from v1.
- The desk edits the document's numbered sections — its title, opening and signature lines stay as the plan generated them; the editor keeps paragraphs, sub-headings, quoted passages, lists and bold, italic and underline, and other formatting stays with the firm's editor of record.
