Capabilities
- ShippedEvery matter carries a running number of its own within its firm (EP-0264 — the type's letters and the number), issued by the database whatever door opens the matter and never changed; the matters list searches by client, matter or number.
- ShippedOverview & chat opens on the matter being worked: its bar (the state, the county, the attorney, the paralegal and who can open it), the four counts, and the assistant's opening card composed from the record without a model — what is on the record, a suggested workflow of four steps, and the source files one click from the conversation.
- ShippedThe matter's context beside the assistant: the client intake it came from, its source documents, the drafting foundation, the latest citation check, the newest draft to continue and the next open tasks — each part from its own read, and a part that could not be read says so.
- ShippedClients & matters: all matters, my matters (on the team or assigned), the client intakes and the archived matters, with the future files and their activation; the type, status and lead filters, the sort orders, closed matters on request, the attention level, pages of fifty and the CSV export of the filtered view.
- ShippedThe selected matter's panel (its team, its source files, open findings and latest document) and the assistant on it; the matter's own documents can be used in a conversation like an attached file, read only through the reader's own access.
Limits
- The opening card says what the record holds; it does not decide anything — every step is the attorney's.
- A matter's lead is its team's responsible member (or its assigned attorney); a team the reader cannot see is not named.
- A document still being read, or one that has not passed its upload check, cannot be used in a conversation yet — the selector says which.
